Learn about the famous architect, the congressmen, senators, and judges that lived and visited there. Connections to President Abraham Lincoln. An international murder scandal – pitting brother against brother. Largest landowner and canal promotor of Lewis County and northern Herkimer county; 3 sisters who cared to preserve the Adirondacks prior to the formation of the Adirondack Park and one sister’s “sleeping fish”. Oh, and did we mention the Titanic?
